#RCOServiceChallenge: Organ Donation

A new week means a new #RCOServiceChallenge! This week’s challenge is organ donation registration!

Why is it important to register as an organ donor?

Though most people believe organ donation is important, just over a quarter of Ontarian's are registered as donors. Currently, around 1,600 Ontarian's are waiting for a life-saving organ transplant.

Even if you signed a donor card you need to register your consent to donate to ensure the information is recorded with the Ontario government. Registering as a donor is the only secure and guaranteed way to make your decision known. Give hope by registering your consent and share with your family members and friends! Your decision may one day, save up to 8 lives.

Unsure how to register, update or check your organ donation registration?

Look no further! Below is a step-by-step tutorial for your convenience.

*This is registration for Ontario only. Outside of Ontario? Click the “Outside Ontario” link provided on www.beadonor.ca to direct you to your provincial registration page.
