Lover of books and chai lattes

Diya is a second-year computer science and mathematics student at the University of Ottawa. She first learned about Rotary through the grade-twelve scholarship program; soon after, she fell in love with the community and vision. Diya says she wants to "save the world" by intersecting humanitarianism and technology.

She loves travelling to experience diverse cultures and partake in humanitarian projects. If you give her the chance, she will read all day, dance all day, and spend the night learning anything about everything.

Lindsay D’Amato

Membership Director

Loves to bake

Lindsay is in her fourth-year of Global Affairs and French at Carleton University. She was introduced to Rotary when she completed a Rotary Youth Exchange program in Belgium in 2018. During this program, she met some amazing Rotarians and participated in fundraising events for her host Rotary Club. This motivated her to find more ways to become involved with Rotary. Lindsay moved to Ottawa from northern Ontario in 2020 and joined Rotaract in January 2024. When she is not studying or working, she can be found at the gym, with her cats, or crocheting!
